Totally confused
It's not often I find a class or course difficult but with 107 I have met my match. I have studied the material but get little from it. I'm going to take the test shortly and I will be shocked if I get a passing grade.
I sort of get the same feeling from time to time. The courses seem to go in so many directions at times.
I agree this course was the most challenging so far. My advice would be to not get discouraged. It just means that not everything comes easy, and it gives us an opportunity to see what the more troubled students feel like. Helps us better relate, to then teach more effectively.
I can understand your frustration with this course. It really just scratches the surface on SEVERAL issues related to the classroom environment and the course content doesn't necessarily reflect the title. If I didn't teach Psychology, I would probably have the same feeling!
this too was a challange for me. once I got into it a little bit it got easier to understand. I think it will take some practice to use it in the classroom andwith my teaching style but should be beneficial.
Totally confused is right! You have to put your lesson an practical in a comfortable flow that will ease everyone though the subject may be complicated. I feel it is my job to observe the students the different learning styles, then prepare my lesson accordingly.
This class took longer than many of the previous ones that I took. However, I am anxious to put some of the ideas into practice. I was already familiar with teaching to the different intelligences and would find it difficult to reach out to the different intellegences with my teaching style.
I also found this course a little different from the others in that it took me much longer to get through it and understand it. I find that with content that is initially hard to comprehend, it is beneficial to start from the beginning and read through it again. You already have a preview of what follows, and are able to understand the more complicated concepts which might have made little sense the first time.
