Lecture

I find it helpful to often time lecture from the back of the room

this is a fair point. I would not suggest lingering at the back of the class, but rather keeping on the move & if you linger anywhere it's beside students or in the front of the class.

I agree, I move around the room to lecture. I find it very important to see the students faces while lecturing, because if you have students giving you the "deer in headlights" look then I know I need to start asking questions of the class. I believe sometime getting the students to give their view of what was said, I call it "speaking a different language", that insures that I do have everyone on board with the information that is given.

Personaly to me it seems wierd when I lecture to the back of students heads.
