eye contact
I like to eye contact as I can see if the student is paying attition or if they get the message
Ethel,
and it also helps us to gauge if they are with us & understanding us.

Great eye contact allows students to feel important, more engaged, and also allows you to get the information to them without fear holding their learning process up.
I completely agree! I like to be able to look straight into a students eyes to see if they are getting what I'm saying. I also think that it lets them know how passionate you are about getting your message across. It gives a lot of credibility to the instructor.
Wayne,
eye contact really is a great way to gauge that understanding & engagement.
