Without the monitoring of students, instructors may fail to see and realize which students are fading from the learning experience. Monitoring allows instructors the opportunity to keep the group/class together and moving toward success.

Careful monitoring of a student entails that instructors become perceptive. Instructors need to observe the students performance and than respond to them promptly. If attendance issues has been identified as the reason to the inability in understanding course concept, than we must keep the student motivated and offer assistance. Identfying other weaknesses and having the ability to provide specific assistance to ensure that the students will succeed. The careful monitoring entails that we care about the success of our students.
