Student Groups

Is good teaching to have all students report from their group?

Not really. Sometimes that may be appropriate, but usually a leader will emerge from the group as the "speaker". Some are not comfortable being the "leader". Often this is an opportunity to watch new speaking skills develop. Having All students report might not always be practical when considering time or lack there of

Students in a group each have a specific job which is then combined for the total outlook of the assignment. Students can then report as an individual or elect to have a spokesman for the group

are you maybe aksing if they should all do the report-out rather than one person for each group

that would depend on the size and what they would be doing

Hi Lynnette!

I'm not sure that I understand exactly what you are asking? Would you please elaborate?

Thanks,
