LEARNING GROUP
STUDENT HELPING OTHER STUDENT IS A VALUABLE TOOL
I've seen some students who are quiet gain more confidence as well from working in peer groups. Perhaps it is a reflection of these people's focus on the task at hand rather than group participation but, whatever it is, for those who are less likely to contribute to the class by speaking up, the ones who do so through their actual handling of the group projects offer a good balance.
student groups help the students get to know each others veiws, perspectives and also puts diversity in the discussion
I find that when students are working in a group and teaching each other, they really start to understand the material more. Groups can help students to build confidence and esteem. The students realize that they bring some value to the group.
yes i beleive teamwork is a priority that everyone should have
Hi Rasiel!
Student groups are very valuable to the development of critical thinking skills, team work as well as workplace strategies. And yes, those students who lack interpersonal skills are more likely to gain self confidence and to become important members of the team.
Good job!
