I stress the importance of study groups with my students. I think when they take the time to discuss topics with eachother, they retain more information. You remember 90% of what you teach someone else.

It helps them understand what it is to be a team which is a must in the field I'm instructing.

They will be able to share information and get feedback from other students on course content.

all workers must work together for the good of the patient.

I also agree with your statement. However, when doing medical skills giving them the ownership is not always advisable.

Positive outcome are allowing individuals to work with others from diverse backgrounds. The learning groups also help students stay on task and develops the student abilities to work together .

Group works aids in giving students the chance to learn from each other. I always tell students that some of the most important learning comes horizontally. That's why it is important ta the contribute because they can learn a lot from each other.
