student learning groups

student learning groups are helpful because it gives them a chance to have a voice and not be intimidated by someone of authority.

Students need to be in more student groups, because it helps students to learn in a fun way. Also it helps the students to get to know one another.

Tiffany,

this is a great observation & we have to recognize that sometimes students learn better from their peers than they do from us.

Dr. Ryan Meers

I have found that for long chapters group learning to review for the test helps the students learn from each other on their level and test scores are higher. They are more comfortable sometimes to ask another peer vs the instructor.

Learning groups are one of the best ways to engage the students.
