Learning Groups
I like groups becasue they afford the students the ability to learn from each other. Often this is a better interaction than with an instructor.

I like groups because sometimes the students have a different way of doing things which may help others. This definitely comes into play when it comes to math in my evening class. I always work things out the long way, cross out like terms, etc. and it makes complete sense to me, but for some students it’s confusing. One day I asked them to break into groups and help each other with a problem they didn’t get right and that’s when I realized they can teach each other better than I can because even with math I had to figure out different ways to teach.
