learning groups serve several purposes, increases students ability to learn the topic as well as inhance their ability to work as a team.

On the first day of the module I encourage students to take at least three students contact information. I also make sure to assign at least one group assignment to help students to stay engage and develop a team building environment.

In my experience, learning groups get students involved and committed. It can stimulate excitement and action. Learning groups allow students to perform.

Learning groups will also give the student a chance to interact with different people. This can be an educational learning experience in itself, and prepare them for the real working world.
