Groups assists in getting the information through to each and every student. In case someone did not understand a part other group members can help\.

yes, they can explain things in different ways, or just help others see a different perspective.

I agree, I find that if the students work together as a team they learn better from each other than on their own.

yes the groups can be very useful for this. It's possible that a student may understand one of his/her peers better than he/she understands me & so groups can be a great asset for this reason.

First day of class I tell my students to make a friend. If I can't get to them quick enough, or if I can't teach them how they will understand, one of the students in the class may understand why the student isn't understanding and may be able to teach that student 'their way'.
