Switching Groups
I prefer to switch groups every week. So they can work with different types of personalities. They will have an idea of diversity in the field.
I rather than switch the team members every week, I do it after a project or full assignment is completed. After a task completion, the members would have the time to judge how well they have completed the task(s) or project. Under any circumstance, I would let them switch before completion. I believe that helps them later on at the workplace, where task(s) execution and completion takes higher priority than individual issues or comfort. Regards.
I think this also helps them to get to know their peers. This is valuable especially for classes with freshman.
