Language Learning

I learned ways to provide key words and repeat them so the big picture of the course is always visible.

I have deep respect for my students who are ELLs. I teach court reporting, and one of the prerequisite skills is having a strong grammar background.

English is my second language.I have some students with the same situation. So i tell them to memorize a subject with words in English, impression, association, and repetition will help.It works for me and others as well.

Hi Praveena! Thanks for your observation. Utilizing key words and summaries when addressing a topic certainly helps students to see the big picture, and repetition, just slightly different each time, is an excellent reinforcement technique.
