Students with Challenges
I have found pairing up those who excel with those who are struggling has given a better boost to class unity and morale
Hi Sandi!
So much of a students learning experience is about gaining self confidence.
Good work!

I agree. The stronger student will help the weaker student to reach mutual goals. The weaker student learns that they may well become the stronger student and the cycle continues
It seems only natural to pair strong and weak- any other combination creates a superiority and inferior complex - the competive factions and the intrinsic value of the stronger helping the weaker to success is good teaching and a smart strategy
While I have found pairing up an excelling student with a struggling student helpful to the struggling student, sometime I feel the student with a good grasp of the knowledge is not given an opporunity for advanced learning. So while I'll occasionaly try to "pair them up" like this, I will also try to mix it up occasionally where 2 advanced students are together
