Understanding Diverse Learners
We all have different abilities and learning process, how we retain information and how we process information. I feel as thugh we can all learn from oneother
The diversity can setforth challenges for the instructor...especially in small classroom setting. Therefore creating different learning tools and approaches to keep everyones attention works well for very small class sizes.
I agree too much diversity in a class can be challenging. Older students may feel younger students know more since they just finished school. However, by having them share experiences through ice-breakers or group projects, they can learn to respect one another and come to the conclusion that they are all there to learn.
When you have too diverse a group in learning abilities the class be very challenging. Who gets the most accomodation? sometimes no one will be happy in this siutation.
