Diverse Learners
I have a various group of students. They can range from having just completed High School to having been out of school for 30+ years. Using concepts and stories that both groups can relate to allows the entire class to grasp the material covered.

I teach students who range in ages and experience. The experienced students, those who have worked in careers and are in college to change careers, have a great deal of "Life" experiences to share with the group. The students fresh out of high school have a great deal of "technology" experiences to share with the more experienced learners.

But isn't it a great experience for you and the students when you have such a diverse group. Even though there can be a wide range of ages and different ethnic groups, it is wonderful what can and is learned from each other.
