this is definitely a challenge. To me this is where I try to incorporate activities, case studies, discussions, etc along with the content.

It is not always easy to keep interest up when you have three hours of lecture time per class period. The challenge is to use the time constructively without becoming boring.

yes & we also need to be aware that sometimes we contribute to the problem if we overload them too much.

As an instructor it is our duty to try to get students to stay focus as much as we possbily can. Students will find themselves lost in the assignments and get lost and then they will get very bored with the lesson. So as an instructor we need to give our students what they want which is a fun and educational enviroment in the classroom.

I would agree with this. If the class is becoming bored, we need to make sure we aren't the ones causing the boredom.

It is possible to over explain any theory. Sometimes the more words you use the more harm you cause.
