ADHD?

Strategies to increase comprehension?

patricia,
this is a great idea & one that I had not thought of before. Thank you for sharing.

Ryan Meers, Ph.D.

Allowing the student who has ADHD small but important accomodations such as squeezing a ball while lecturing to the students. It is important to allow a student physical movement that does not become distracting to classmates, but allows that student the movement they need to better process information

Steven `,
this is a great reminder & strategy we all can use.

Dr. Ryan Meers

Allowing students to learn very small pieces of the material at a time. Once they know several important small pieces of information they can build on them to understand the material as a whole. Example is how we remember phone numbers 860....569....39...39 is easier to remember then 8605693939
