ELL students have always been a challenge. I have gained new knowledge through this module on how to help the ELL student succeed. The concept of concrete examples were really helpful to me.

Recognizing that ELL students have different needs is important. I had an adult learner that had English as a second language. She used an English to Spanish dictionary to help herself with the barrier and she aced all of my tests. It took her a little longer to take them but so what, she passed with flying colors.
