Though I agree every student can learn, an important question I ask myself, "is this student in the right class for his/her ability and disability". I have students that I made the extra effort and accomodations for the disability and the difficulties for that particular course and content was too much for the student to handle. In short, it is not only important to assess the needs of the student but also assess if your course is a good fit at the time to ensure the potential for student success.

Its tough in my case to tailor to each student with the limited time and large class size.
