It can be challenging to work with student's with this problem but not impossible once you understand what their problem is you can work one on one with that student to help understand the material that being presented
I totaly agree, they think that they may be the only one with the disability, and think that the other students may make front of them about there ability to grasp the information.

this is true. I think if we really show them that we are there to help & want to help them then this encourages them to open up to us & seek that help.

i've found that some students feel embarrassed to mention that they are learning disabled and do not want to mention it around other students. it is very easy to accommodate them if they identify themselves.
