I find it helps to work with them one on one sometimes, while still envolving others.

I agree that working with students one on one helps. Often times in our school we have some free time, so in the down time we will study. It helps me as the instructor but also the student.

I usually work with them on an indivual basis when needed and I alsp group them as well. Some students learn better as a group and some individually.
