The main issues that I have seen students have is reading that is normally where I step in and try to help by explaining and showing more real world scenarios.

Opening the textbook to work along with the lab skills (using demonstration)is helpful for student to understand concept. After seeing demonstration,they are able to recall the visual display to make the connection. The visual is also helpful for student to recall during a test.
