Dealing with more than one student with learning disability, allowing them enough time is the most effective support system that helped them succeed. The first step is identifying which student has learning disability.

I would start by reminding the student that they are still accountable for all of the course & program requirements & that attendance is one of those requirements. It may even be time for a heart to heart that attendance at a job is necessary for maintaining employment & this can get in their way.

What are some helpful ways to help me as an instructor deal with a student who constantly uses there disability as an excuse to not come to class.
We all have some kind of issue. We just need to find it, capture it, and kick its but. By support and learning structures.....
