I didn't realize that some of the techniques of questioning in the class room could have such adramatic effect on my students. As I began to refine my practices, I saw immediate results in class participation.

Patricia,

I totally agree. The class is more interactive and I feel more learning occurs in this environment. Students like to be challenged.

GREAT course, when lecturing in the classroom i like to ask questions ,i feel as though the students are able to follow along with me and this in my opinion helps the student to understand and are able to do well on a test.

Steven,

I absolutely agree with you. I have used the Socratic method teaching for a long of the time. This involves asking questions. I have found that it challenges students to think critically and it also encourages a better grasp of the material.

Using open ended questions is a great way to get a lot of class participation. It also helps students to comprehend the subject matter a lot better.

Robert,

Glad to hear! As you have seen, varying questions can make a difference.
