To keep a positive environment by using positive words

Be postiive.

Always be positive with your students!

What words to avoid and what are better choices. Also, I had a habit of calling out students because no one would answer my questions. I did not realize that I may have been calling out a shy student. The last thing I want to do is make a student feel uncomfortable. I am going to change the way I call on students from now on.

It can be very frustrating when you feel like you are losing control of your classroom. We all experience this - but it is important to learn how to bring all students back to the table in an appropriate way that is not harmful.

Listen carefully

I learned to use positive words and avoid negative connotative words

I have learned how to provide a positive learning environment and how to create a classroom that encourages learners to feel engaged and respected.

Creating a Mission Statement and reviewing it prior to going into the classroom is a great idea.

Always use positive reinforcements as they convey to the students to be successful.

Be positive in all situations and careful with the words you choose.

I enjoyed the looking at the classroom from lthe students view.

I learned different techniques to manage different situations in the classroom adn positive words that will help learning.

Deliver the right knowledge in the right amount of time.

Better ways to respond to negative behavior. Respond in a positive form rather than negative.

Say positive words rather than using there negative opposites.

A successful learning experience sometimes means letting go.

I really like the methods of teaching in this module. It helped me get back into my creative side of things

Vague use of "Native American" technique in this section, without specifying which specific nation used or still uses such a technique is highly problematic. For many reasons.

I really appreciated the tips and scripting for when the class gets a loud

Also, I have never felt comfortable calling on them, but several people who trained me use this technique a lot and say it helps in keeping students engaged and alert in class.
