You can cultivate or shape the mind of students by using real life examples, history reflection, case study, and etc. Students will learn and adapt the perspective, the knowledge and the analytic skills if they saw enough of the kind.
In this sense, we say a teacher is the constructor of human soul.

The cooperative learning you describe indicates a fairly open structure. Is there an individual accountability feature in this structure for each individual to be accountable to the group for deliverables within the project? Robert Slavin (and others) indicated this to be an important feature in group work from a practical standpoint. Thank you for your insights.
