Impersonal Problems

I hear impersonal problems everyday in class. It's good to see that the way I am handling them are correct. I listen, recommend a course of action and then refocus the student. So I'm glad to see I'm doing the right thing!

Joan,
Right you are. Personal problems can creep into the classroom to the point that the divert the ability of students to stay focused and will leave their program. This where supports are essential.

That is good to know you are on the right track. I know refocus is everything in our environment because our students can become destracted so easily. This information is helpful.
