fear of returning to the college environment
Many adult learners have a fear of technology when returning to the college environment. There is a general fear of not being able to grasp the age of computers as the recent high school graduate. This is one of the observations and encouraging opportunities that I have noticed with many of the older adult learners.

I agree totally. I am middle afged and recently started using a computer,because of teaching and i find myself asking the students questions to help me. This in turn shows them that learning is a never ending process in life

Right you are with many returning adult learners. This is why they need to see their instructor as being supportive and help them have early success in the course. This way they can build their confidence as they progress through the course.
