Age Diversity
In my class you can see a wide range of ages, from right out of High School, to some one in their 50's. By trying to stay informed of the current events and allowing yourself to be knowledgeable on all fronts of a subject, you can see "eye to eye" with your students no matter what age they are. When you do this it puts you on that students level and you look more "human" and accessible.
WILLIAM,
This is great advice for instructors to consider as they approach their students. Having the ability to relate to them no matter their age is a asset that enables the earning of their respect as well as developing rapport.

I agree with your statements and even though the age gap has been reduced in our recent enrollments this still works.
