Understanding the work environment and the diversity that goes along with it.
I understand the work and diversity concept. I'm working on trying to have all people see people as humans, invisible of color and diversity, treat people how you would want to be treated.
By engaging the students with acivities directly related to the field for witch they are to graduate for and by mixing up your labs to coinside with your daily planner.
I think students really like these modalities. They crave the "hands-on" interaction and so many times they just sit in a classroom. The more interactive and interesting we can make it with role play, case studies, etc. the more we engage them for the future.
