Instructor's attitude towards the course

Instructor's skills and ability to express content should be coupled with excitement

HAROLD,
Good point about finding other rewards in what we do beside our pay. We are impacting lives and leaving a legacy this two items are powerful in their own right in terms of preparing the next generation of workers to enter our field.

I do agree with this statement. If an instructor knows his or her subject, and also loves imparting his knowledge to others,he or she should be excited. However, one should love teaching and helping others. One should not teach for the money only. As a matter of fact, instructors are not paid that well. The monetary values are not that great. Therefore, our skills and ability to express content should be coupled with excitement.

the student expierience is largely decreased by poor instructor attitude.they respond really well to lively and fun attitudes

William,
We need to bring enthusiasm to each class. It is for sure if we don't the students aren't.

many years ago i took a class in Measurement and Evaluation. i found this class helped to operationalize the concepts and reminded me to continue to apply the concepts learned here

Excitement is often the one thing I hear students complain about to other instructors. Lack of enthusiasm seems to be an easy way for students to "throw instructors under the bus"
