Building Rapport with Students
Rapport seems to facilitate both student motivation for learning and their enjoyment of the course, and enhances student receptivity to what is being taught. To create effective rapport with our students educators should learn to call your students by name, learn students interest, hobbies, personal and professional goal and use personal relevant examples in classroom setting.

Creating rapport with students is essential to have positive student learning. Rapport is built the first meetings of class. Rapport comes from the instructor knowing the students needs.
Pamela,
Respect and rapport are two of the essential elements of teaching and learning success. So by extending respect to students and earning theirs a foundation has been established for creating rapport and greater interaction with students.
