Motivation for all...

This was a great piece because it reflected on not only the student but the instructor also. As instructors we need to remeber that we also need a little boost to assist us with the 150% that our students need.

I agree. The more encouraging words that are passed around, the more positive the feedback.

Tamika,
This is so true. The students really feed off of passion for the content and enthusiasm for teaching.

When we exude passion in our "Craft", it becomes infectious.

Andric,
We can't forget the needed words of encouragement as we interact with students. Yes, we all need those words so we should remember to spread these encouraging words around as their are deserved.

Gary,
Good point about the work you have done and the enjoyment factor. It is a balancing act for sure to find something you really enjoy doing as well as getting to teach others about the field.

we all need some words of encouragement to keep us motivated and to keep us moving on and to make it easier to get through some days when your down and out or just having a bad day. sometimes the simplest word of encouragement gets you through the or even the week depending on your situation at the and just remember the days that you needed and got. remember to retuen the favor to someone else that see that's not having a great day just watch there smile and there energy level boost up

In 30 plus years I don't think I've had a job that I've enjoyed. Don't get me wrong I love my trade just not my job, if that makes sense. So for finally having a job that I love which is imparting my trade to students for the betterment of their lives with a passion that drives my motivation.

Karen,
Like your suggestions because we need to charge our batteries as well. We need to take a break and let our minds relax a bit and then get ready for our next course.

It would also not hurt to use the time off between semesters to add some FUN and new routines into the teacher's life too....maybe a massage, a day in the park just reflecting, a CEU class such as this to give new ideas and suggestions would be nice too.

Dionne,
Good point and a great reminder to us all.
