Good points about enthusiasm and passion for your field. These two elements need to be present in order for the content to come alive for the students. Sounds like you are bringing both to your students each time your class meets.

Your enthusiasm, your energy and keeping your course fresh, current and relevant. I've had a few boring instructor in my life time and I've prayed to never be one of them. It helps also when you get new ideas from our peers on what they are doing.

Your delivery has a major part of keeping them focused and engaged. You need to offer change of pace and variety in your instructional delivery along with stories and examples that shows the students application and relevancy.
