I agree and you can actually make all subjects fun if you use experiances and a good sense of humor
I teach a custombody class that everyone can't wait to get into.I have to check each project and sometimes get to joke about the look that the're going for. I tell them that it's custom and that's and we'll go with that..We all get a laugh.
There is no better way to put this.If you don't enjoy the teaching, then the student never will.

This is why it is important to bring variety to the class. When you need change you can introduce humor or a real life experience and you will have the students engaged once again. Good job.

If the material is dry try to lighten things up with a little humor. draw them in with something that cracks the ice then get back on subject.

Well as I like to say to the class, it is "more Gooder!" That starts to class off correcting me or wondering what is better with the new material in the class today??
A happy and fun environment is a productive environment.
If you keep your eye on the ball, the end result, it should be easy to show enthuisiasm. That is what makes it fun.

The term fun can be defined in many different ways. You are right about some material not being the most exciting to present or learn. The key is to look for ways of making the material interesting. Use games or competitions to help the students learn the material plus have some fun while doing it. You can lecture and then have a short exercise where the students use their newly acquired knowledge. Change the pace of instruction anything to keep the students wanting to learn and then use the new knowledge they have.

i agree with you 100% but some topics are just near impossible to make fun.
