i feel that students are very much motivated when you present clear and easy understandable demo's of the subject they have to learn
I also feel that when you recap after your demo and then after they do a practical, it really locks home the information.

I motivat by showing light at end.
I agree. They look at you as being the real world professional so you have to be able to play the part with confidence and ability.
I agree. If you make the demo's clear and easily understandable, as you say, the students have an expectation of success for themselves when they have to duplicate the demo.
