Motivation
I like to use a variety of games, worksheets, reviews to help motivate students. But, I also include a reward at the end of these activities to give the student incentive.
I tell students all the great things I've achieved, oppurtunities I've had and things I've aquired because of the field of work they are training for.It helps them set their own goals.
In our campus , being an automotive school , one great motivator is to remind those students who are getting close to graduation , how important it is to stay focus and the rewards of being able to getting a good job and make a good living afterwards .
students love rewards--big or small. They also love to mix it up when reviewing! Games are always a big hit!
