Motivating Your Students
I tell the students in my clas to have a good time and keep it Professional. i think part of learning is to have fun in the learning process.

That is a great rule to follow. I do the same for my students. They love to have fun learning. I think it makes it easier and more memorable. It certainly helps in retention of students as well as retaining what learn.
I agree, learning should be fun and laughing makes people feel good.
Smart idea especially with long classes.
When motivating my students I try to use humor, logic and real life stories. It just depends on the class which thing motivates them. Sometimes I have to use many different things. Most of the real life stories are humorous though.
