Motivating Your Students
I am extremely enthused about my career field and constantly convey this attitude to my students. I continue to stress the importance of being on time, completing assignments and then giving examples of how these values apply to the work force.
Number one on my list of things to do on a daily basis to keep my students motivated. I have a positive attitude, present a professional appearance, vary my teaching style and constantly use myself and others n the field as examples of what motivation can do for their career.
Robert,
Students really like stories from their instructors, as you well know. They help to make the course content come alive and help the students to see application of what is being taught.

I also agree. In my educational program, I often use my own sucess stories, and failures, to help them understand what their new career world will be like. I often motivate them by talking about the industry and all the various options that are available when they complete the program.
I love the field I am in and becauseI love it so much I am constantly using my own success stories to motivate my students. Letting them know all the oppprtunities they have in the working world always helps to motivate.
