Motivation

there are all different kinds of motivation, money, praise ect.

In my class we rebuild transmissions then run these transmissions on a dyno to see how they work, so the motivation to do it right is very clear. Along the way, though, I try to praise and use positive reinforcement.

I think it is also important to investigate what is the immediate goals of the student and apply examples that reflect similar goals.

You can motivate with relationships also.
