Motivating Students
I have found that if I change my class up a bit, the students find it more exciting. I also try to include them in all of the time instead of them just listening to me.
I also find that student enjoy current events in his or her field. This motivator really motivates the students to stay abreast of what is going on in his or her field.
There are several ways to motivate students. I always find it good to compliment the students when they do a good job. I also find it grat when they involve themselves in thier learning and really discuss how they are going to use what I teach them in thier everyday lives.

Personal experiences help to "sell" the content. So after making a key point illustrate it with a story about how you used it in your career. It is for sure the students will remember it.

I think students like hearing about personal experiences in the field of study they are in currently. It helps to encourage students and gives a break from just lecturing.
