Also these stories are motivators for the students because they get excited when they hear about how they can use what they are being taught in real world situations.

These are fun days for the students since they get to teach a subject that they have just learned about. There is a saying that best illustrates this. "To teach is to learn twice, one as a student and again as a teacher." This is what is happening with students that get to teach for a day.

One example of a successful strategy I have used in my classroom, is to let the students be the instructor for the day. Give them an assignment ahead of time to prepare and lecture to the class.
