I totally agree - the more motivated and excited the instructor is about a topic the more the students retain & the clearer the delivery is.
Students can very easily sense the excitement and passion an instructor has for their given field.passion for a field of work is contagious and one of the best ways to keep a student motivated.
I feel that motivation is key to keeping the students interest in class. Use of topics and discussion panels are good to keep their interest.
