retain class projects
i try to have all students work on all lab projects
Hi Eleftherios,
Both of these options provide support and input to and for students. You are enabling the tests to be learning devices rather than just assessment tools. To me this is an important part of identifying the learning successes of students.

I'm trying to get something going at my school that's basically a follow up to their exams.
The idea is that after they take their hands-on "skills test" they can revisit the test, with a few other students and one of the instructors. I've done this already and it works really well. We go over the test step by step and they get to see where they made mistakes, especially because they're seeing it a second time and without being under the stress of taking a test.
The school where I teach has a 2 week re-do option for every project which I think is very useful.
