Lear the name

I learn the name of my students in the first class that makes them feel comfortable. Some of them even like t be called by thier nick names and I always ask the if they want me to call them by this name. That make them feel well because I care.

I am terrible with names. But since I have gone over this I will try to greet and acknowledge each student before I start. I will also try to do a little "small talk" on the first day of the new week to allow them to feel comfortable.
