Intrinsic vs extrinsic- good job
I don't understand how wanting to get a good job is listed just as extrinsic, yes there is a paycheck involved, however, most people work for reasons other than just receiving a paycheck e.g. helping others, feeling productive, keeping busy etc.
Michelle, wanting to get a job is listed as extrinsic because it is a physical and tangible resource. The feeling of being productive and keeping busy is intrinsic as they deal with intangibles. Does not in any way imply one is more or less important than the other.
