Encouragement
As i stand in front of the class I am always so excited to discuss anatomy, but, I tend to have one student that is in my class for the wrong reasons. After council, there has been no change, how do I get this student excited when they are only there because they have to be?

I agree! Excitement is really contagious, and a lot of students will catch the excitement bug.

true, when they see that you are excited, they catch it, not everybody maybe, but majority. The Instructor should be able to set the tone and they follow and if it is positive and exciting then, your class will have better participation.

Excitement certainly begins with the instructor. It is so motivating to the students when the instructor is excited about what they are teaching.

I am also very excited about what I am teaching and I believe with much encouragement and positive reinforcement in time maybe you can get all students to be excited about what they are learning, and may be that one student will understand that everything they are learning will come back to be a reward.
