What are some effects strategies in motivating students who are not interested in being in class?

Hi Earl, finding a source for the student's motivation is vital. I ask students to write down what they hope to
achieve by taking the course. If a student starts to lose motivation, I can refer to the student's own words
during a one-on-one meeting to help refocus and re-energize the student.
