Taking Control of Your Time
Taking Control of Your Time
It is very helpful to create a “To Do” list. Once you have created the list and prioritize the items, I find it v very helpful to include “Me Time.” Me time will be something that I want to do to relax or exercise to help relieve some of the stress in my day.
Wow! I am just the opposite.
I seem to really need to get off campus and eat. I even feel better if I eat in the car in the parking lot than if i stay in a "hidden' area.
Scheduling fun time is indeed important. I like the way you block off entire days for fun. That sounds like a great system!
This is a great idea. I use my campus calendar to keep track of items that are important at the school. I not only do this with work, but I do this with all aspects of my life. Scheduling fun time is important. In some cases my entire day is blocked off for fun time. I am sure to have all important asks completed by this time.
I usually have lunch in the classroom so that the students can contact me with questions. When I am stressed, I will have lunch outside of the classroom. I take that time to do nothing but eat and clear my head. That usually counts as my "me time" while I am on campus.
That's wonderful Maureen! Keep up the great work on that.
Day 1 of my course I have all of the written materials organized for each student. It saves all of us time; they love the anticipation connected with the organized piles of information.
Indeed. And we really do have to schedule in ‘Me Time’ because when we don’t, it doesn’t always happen.
